Weak hips and a great butt! important read

The hips and glutes (butt) play and essential role in stabilization of the core, and power through our lower extremity. When using our legs in sports or for other various activities our gluteus and hips need to be strong and are critical for peak performance.

Falling and breaking a hip!

At some point in your life you probably know or have heard of someone breaking their hip. However here is something you may not know. The fall in most cases is not what shatters the hip. The fall ussually occurs due to weak hip stabilizers and a gluteus muscle. Therefore the hip often breaks then the fall occurs.
Do these essential exercises to keeps your hips and butt strong and enjoy the rewards of great backside this summer :)

Lying down gluteus squeeze

1. Place circular tubing above knees.
2. Raise hips, pull band apart and back to center.
3. Repeat 5ox.

Walking hip abduction


1. Step on body band with both feet.
2. Walk laterally for 30 steps, pushing off with lead hip.
3. Return back to start walking laterally in opposite direction.
